What Is My Blackberry Operating System
When you’re looking at software or themes for your BlackBerry, many applications and themes will specify what version of the operating system the application or theme needs.
It may say 4.2, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7, or 5.0.
But which do you have? If you don’t know, here’s how you can find out:
- On your BlackBerry navigate to “Options” and click with trackball or touchscreen.
- In “Options” navigate to “About” and click or touch.
- In “About” you’ll see your software version on the third line.
- While the version may look like 4.6.0.167 the first two digits are generally what you need to know.
- It’s important to know the entire version number, like 4.6.0.167, if you’re looking to see if you have the latest build of the software.
The themes and applications on this website are usually for OS 4.7+ or 5.0+.
